Introduction Phase


Step #1 - Review Our Service Plans

See what plans we have that could benefit your business and get a sense of what is included and not included. We have a full course menu just for you!

Step #2 - Complete our Questionnaire

Tell us who you are and what challenges you are experiencing. Don't skip this step or your intital consultation appointment will be cancelled. :)

Step #3 - Meet Your Trusted Advisors

Tell more about the meaning behind our name, why we do what we do, the types of clients we work with, and more fun facts about our founder before your consultation call.

Step #4 - Book Your Initial Consultation

You will receive an email to schedule a chat with Ufuoma Ogaga. During this call, we will learn more about you, understand your goals, and meet your team.

Discovery Phase


Step #1 - Pay Diagnostic Fee

Send us payment for the discovery process. Once we receive your payment, invite us as an accountant user into your accounting systems to begin the review and diagnostic process.


Step #2 - Review Discovery Report & Proposal

Once our review of your accounting system is completed, you will receive an email from us with the discovery report and a proposal of solutions to get your books in order.


Step #3 - Book Your Discovery Call

We will use this meeting to answer any questions you might have about the discovery report and proposal to come to an agreement.


Step #4 - Sign Contract & Make Payment

You will receive a contract email detailing expecatations and a payment authorization form from Right Signature (our e-signature tool) and/or an invoice to make your first month's payment or project deposit from QuickBooks Online (our accounting system). It is important you sign the contract and process payment within 7 days of receiving the email.

Onboarding Guide

Welcome to the GBC family! We are excited you have chosen to work with us. This is your welcome guide for everything you will need to begin working with us.

We will communicate with you via email, Slack hub, and Zoom throughout your onboarding process. Please make sure to dedicate at least 2-3 weeks on your schedule to complete the below steps in order for us to begin work.

Complete as much of the steps you can before our onboarding meeting.

Step #1 - Activate Your Sharefile Account

You will receive a separate email with your login credentials to activate your account and change your temporary password. The email will also contain a link to download our Sharefile Guide.

Step #2 - Activate Your Slack Account

You will receive an email invitation into the designated Slack workspace we have created for you. Activate your account and review the “Getting Started” channels.


Step #3 - Book Your Onboarding Meeting

Schedule your 1-hour onboarding meeting by clicking on the below button. During this meeting, we will discuss your required homework, our communication tools and answer your questions.

Step #4 - Complete your Homework

Click the button to download the homework checklist to complete in order for us to begin working on your account. Upload the documents to the Upload folder located in your Sharefile account.


Step #6 - Quick Reference Sheet

Review the "Quick Reference Cheat Sheet" uploaded in your Sharefile "Getting Started" folder or added in your Slack Getting Started channel. Bookmark all of the links in your browser for easy access.


Step #7 - You made it!

Congraulations, you have successfully completed our onboarding process and we are now ready to begin the process of setting up your accounting systems and/or maintaining your books.
